Growing up, life seemed simpler. We didn’t worry about locking our doors, our hatches, or our dinghy.  We did not fear what uncertainties might face us out on the water. While God’s creation can be unpredictable, the times we live in are even more uncertain.

   As a military veteran, husband, and father of two boys, my family’s safety is my number one priority.  I'm a realist with the mindset that an “ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” and Pirate Lights weighs in like a heavy hitter!
